I am lucky enough to have had several life changing experiences. Those things that make you look at life and the beautiful things that make it up, with new eyes of appreciation.
I watched this video this afternoon for the first time in a while. It is a video of a trek into the Grand Canyon that I was privileged enough to be a part of when I was 18.
We made history by taking the first two people unable to walk down to the Havasu falls in the Grand Canyon, using a specially designed Killie Kart.
Are there moments in your life that have changed you? If there is make sure you hold onto them and never let yourself forget the way that they moved, and helped shape you into the person that you are today :)

My Mantra
It has been a dream of mine for a long time to be a nurse. From a young age, after I decided a farmer or vet wasn’t for me I knew I wanted a job that helped people. Last year I started my 3 year degree.
I had a two year break after high school and have loved being back studying. I really enjoy what I am learning. I always loved school and always worked hard, but while loving it struggled with the academic side. Nothing has changed and I still have to push myself to pass,
I realise though, if it wasn't as hard and I didn’t have to study and dedicate as much of myself to what I’m doing, then I might no appreciate it as much as I do. So I am grateful for that.
This is the quote I try to remind myself of whenever I am feeling like everything with study is overwhelming me. Maybe it will help you where you are right now in life too.
