Why I hate religon, but love Jesus (Video)

I try to avoid putting too many things like this on my blog. There reason why is not because I ashamed of the fact the I am a Christian. I would openly  and proudly tell anyone that I am. However the thing for me is that I want my friends and the people around me to see it and not just hear it, to know that I have strong morals and things that I stand for and believe in… without having to stick it down their throats every 5 minutes.

But… I just love this video so much and I can’t stop watching it. So I thought I would share it on here. A lot of people will have already seen it but it is worth a watch. This will hopefully help some people understand that for me and for a lot of my friends being a Christian doesn’t mean judging people, trying to change and convert them.  Christianity is not about religion; in fact I try my hardest to not become religious. It means loving people just the way that they are and where they are. It is about having Grace and forgiveness for people and wanting to be a positive and encouraging influence in people lives.

Watch and enjoy J

Love, Grace, Forgiveness. We could all use a little bit more of it

Moving on & Moving in

Tomorrow is the last day living in my big ole house before I move into a flat with two of my amazing friends. I’m 95% excited and 5% sad.

My walls are bare and my room is half empty. This is the house that I have lived in since I was 7.

It's been home base, comforting and filled with love and awesome memories. I'll miss living here a lot but I’m excited for this next new chapter of my life and to grow and learn more about myself (and my two friends) this year.

So here's to letting go of the old, no matter how good it is, accepting positive change and deciding to fully embrace what is new, exciting and good :)

Smile & Embrace Change :)

Procrastination No More

It happened slowly, snuck up on me from nowhere and before I knew it, I became a procrastinator.

I never used to procrastinate I was so onto things and got things done very quickly, then somewhere along the way I lost a bit of energy and motivation.
Instead of loving life’s busyness I started using it as an excuse, so no more! I have decided that this year I will work on my procrastination!

Here are my 3 things that I am going to do to hopefully improve!

1) Write Lists

2) Accountability

3) Doing things as soon as they come up

Lists - I love writing lists and the feeling of accomplishment when I tick things off is weirdly awesome.

Accountability - I am more likely to do something if I know someone will give me a hard time if I don’t.

Doing things straight away - The longer I leave something the harder it seems to be to get onto doing it.

Join me on my journey to fight the procrastination and become motivated again! Whoo J
